LDP secretary-general Nika has decided to visit Vietnam from November 11 to meet with Prime Minister Hook and hope to strengthen the relationship between the two countries.

LDP secretary-general Nika will visit Da Nang and Hoi An in central Vietnam on the 11th to 14th.

During his stay, Nika will be meeting with Prime Minister Hook, and will exchange opinions on ways of future cooperation, such as expanding human exchanges, and hope to strengthen the relationship between the two countries.

Approximately 1,000 people, including those from the business world and local governments, will accompany and hold symposiums and seminars to promote tourism and investment.

Regarding this visit, Mr. Nikai says, "I would like to understand what Vietnam specifically expects of Japan and help diplomacy."
