In case of Iran’s appeal, the Interstate Aviation Committee (IAC) is ready to assist in the investigation of the crash of the Ukrainian Boeing 737. The IAC press service reports.

The department pointed to the international recognition of the IAC, extensive experience, as well as the availability of necessary equipment and specialists.

“In the case of an appeal from the Iranian side, the IAC is ready to provide any assistance in conducting a technical investigation,” TASS reports.

Germany previously stated that it does not have its own data on the causes of the crash, but it is ready to assist in the investigation.

It was also reported that Tehran invited the United States and Canada to participate in the investigation.

The Boeing 737 crashed on January 8 shortly after taking off from Tehran airport. 176 people were killed.
