Na'ima Suleiman al-Naqbi (19 years), in "Genetics", found what she aspires to in academic specialization and charts the features of her scientific and practical future, considering that a thorough understanding of human genes paves the way to achieve several benefits in the medical field and other fields.

Al-Naqbi, dispatched by the Ministry of Education to the University of Nottingham in the United Kingdom, told «Emirates Today» that “the science of fairies” meets her passion in identifying the underlying causes of genetic diseases, and joins the ranks of specialists in carrying out specialized scientific research in this field.

She attributed the reason for her integration in exile to the various participations and experiences she had in the stages of the study, which served as knowledge and life stations rich in knowledge.

Al-Naqbi, a student in the first academic year, stated: “My current study in the UK is not a new experience, as I did several experiments in the study phase through educational trips organized by the Ministry of Education and the Sharjah Education Council and the children's centers in Sharjah.”

"In 2012, after my victory at the Sharjah Biennial for Art, I was chosen to visit the Biennial Gallery in Alexandria, Egypt, by the children's centers in Sharjah, and in 2013 I was chosen by the Sharjah Education Council to study abroad in the summer period at Harrow House College in the UK ».

"In 2015, I was chosen as part of an educational trip to Singapore, organized by the Ministry of Education for distinguished students. In the following year, I went through a new experience, which is joining the oldest international institutions specialized in science and technology in Switzerland, the College of Business and Hotel Management, by the Ministry of Education."

She noted her participation in the 2018 International Exhibition for National Security and Risk Aversion "Eisnar", in which she received the Students' Innovation Award and was honored by the team His Highness Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior.

Al-Naqbi stressed that through experiences and participations, she realized that she is able to endure alienation, in addition to her desire to learn more, pointing out that society in the United Kingdom has a nature other than the one in which she grew up and familiarized her with different values, customs and culture, which posed a new challenge for her.

She said that the lessons of alienation cannot be counted, the most prominent of which is accepting the other with his difference and respect for the principle of tolerance, estimating the value of time and investing it in the required form and the value of the blessings it enjoys, in addition to keenness to participate in various activities.

Al-Naqbi holds the position of media officer at the Emirati Society in Nottingham, which brings together Emirati scholars in Nottingham under one roof and provides support to them, especially new ones, and organizes courses to teach foreign students in the Arabic language, as well as organizing recreational trips and carrying out various activities.

Its tasks are to manage the association's social media and take responsibility for responding to student inquiries.

Al Naqbi is keen to participate in the activities and events organized by the university and Emirati societies in the United Kingdom, which are organized by the country's embassy and cultural consulate.
