Hamriyah municipality teams began work to withdraw the water that had gathered in the roundabouts and main roads, as a result of the rain fall on the state, during the past two days. The municipality mobilized all its cadres, in anticipation of any possible accidents in the coming hours.
The municipality director, Mubarak Rashid Al Shamsi, stressed the development of a rain emergency response plan to avoid road blockages and deal with emergency cases, according to a specific mechanism. He pointed to the continuation of work around the clock, especially at the entrances and exits of the region, and in the internal streets, to prevent the occurrence of water bodies.
Al-Shamsi called on motorists to take care and caution during the rains and lack of speed, paying attention to the presence of municipal workers and water suction withdrawal vehicles on the roads.
