“I urge the international community, in particular Canada, to join the investigation into the circumstances of the crash,” Zelensky said in a statement.
The Ukrainian leader said that the investigation will be conducted by a commission created by the Iranian Civil Aviation Organization.
Zelensky said earlier that identifying the causes of the Ukrainian plane crash in Tehran is a priority for the country.
According to official figures, the crash killed all 176 people on board: 167 passengers from Iran, Ukraine, Canada, Germany, Sweden and Afghanistan, and nine crew members.
