A serious traffic accident involving a police car of the cynophile brigade occurred this night around 0:30 am in Rennes. While they were walking on the protected passage of the Chapelle-Boby lock, between Aristide Briand and Sergent Maginot avenues, two pedestrians were cut down by an unmarked police vehicle.

The toll of the accident is heavy. A young woman of 21 died on Thursday morning after being admitted in serious condition to the CHU Pontchaillou. The 23-year-old boy who accompanied him was seriously injured. "His vital prognosis is not engaged", indicates the public prosecutor of Rennes.
