In this interview granted to France 24, Carlos Ghosn returns in particular to the decision of the Lebanese justice to prohibit him from leaving the country following a request for arrest of Interpol, Japan demanding his extradition. The decision was taken by the Attorney General of the Republic, after the hearing by Lebanese investigators of the former president of Renault-Nissan on Thursday.

"I am not at all worried. I expected it, it was not a surprise", says Carlos Ghosn on France 24, adding that he returned to the Lebanese authorities the French passport with which he had arrived in Lebanon .

The former CEO of Renault-Nissan also says he is ready to "cooperate" with Lebanese justice, as well as with French justice, and hopes that his file will be forwarded to them by the Japanese authorities.

The fallen car magnate, who says he is the victim of a "conspiracy" in Japan, also explains that he relies on the press to investigate possible responsibilities in the Japanese government. Finally, denouncing a "denial of justice", he compares the Japanese judicial system to that of "North Korea, China or Soviet Russia".
