LDP secretary-general Nika met with Chan Kang-il, chairman of the Korea-Japan Diet League, visiting Japan, and agreed to work together on the need to restore the relationship between the two countries as soon as possible.

The LDP secretary-general, Nika, met on a ninth night at a hotel in Tokyo with Kang Chan-il, chairman of the Korea-Japan Parliamentary League, visiting Japan.

According to Liberal Democratic Party former Secretary-General Kawamura, Chairman Kang said, "I came here with the feeling that meeting the second floor secretary would improve Japan-Korea relations."

On the other hand, Nikai said, "We need to restore Japan-Korea relations as soon as possible. We will do our utmost to achieve this," and agreed to work together to improve the relations.

Mr. Nikaika also said that when President Kang requested a visit to Korea, he said, "If the parliament closes, we will visit a Korean delegation of 1,000 people this summer."
