Canadian intelligence indicates that the Ukrainian plane that crashed near Tehran on Wednesday may have been shot down by an Iranian missile, the Canadian Prime Minister said Thursday
"very clear possibility".

"It is possible that it was done involuntarily," said Justin Trudeau at a press conference, adding that he asked for a "full" and "thorough" investigation into the accident on Wednesday.

The Ukrainian Airlines Boeing 737, which crashed shortly after takeoff from Imam-Khomeini airport, was carrying 176 people, including Canadian nationals.
