This is how the staff at the leisure farm wants to curb the blow at Råslätt

2020-01-07T14:52:44.713Z

Staff at the leisure yard at Råslätt hope to be able to open more hours a day. The reason is that it has been messy in the area lately and several actors are working to curb the problem.

Last year there were several fires and most recently during the New Year's weekend, blue-light personnel were attacked with fireworks at Råslätt in Jönköping. No one was injured but the incident again created great concern in the area.

- This event is beyond all limits and we do not accept it at Råslätt, says Peter Magnusson, who is the manager of the underground farm at Råslätt.

The last major incident, according to Magnusson, was when several car fires occurred in 2015.

Longer opening hours

When the staff at the leisure center received the information through the media, they gathered parents, other adults and older young people who made sure that the situation improved. Peter Magnusson explains that the presence of adults is what makes the most difference and now they hope to be able to open more hours a day.

- We may have the most opening hours when it comes to leisure farms in the country, he says, and says that they now wish to be able to stay open even more.
