Into the wild: reading and author meeting
Evenings> Afterwork - 200 quai de Valmy, 75010, Paris - Free
"La Séparation" is the first text by Sophia de Séguin, published by the Tripode. Wild and addictive, immodest and refined, this story will hit you in the middle of winter. Come discover it and drink with the author at Point éphémère. The Tripod, what is it exactly? When at the end of the Second World War, Francis Ponge was asked why he had preferred to write on a forest (Le Carnet du bois des pins, éditions Mermod, 1947) instead of writing manifestos on Liberty like the other poets, he replied, quietly, that his ambition was to design time bombs, not machine guns. The publishing house Le Tripode takes up this state of mind for it. Since its beginnings, it has been at the service of authors whose only freedom it admires: privileging sensitivity to doctrines, the dissident path from the imaginary to the immediacy of the discourse.
