06 January 2020There are approximately 6.7 million tickets sold in the 2019 edition of the Lottery Italy, with a collection close to € 34 million, and daily prizes of € 750,000 were distributed, communicated during the television broadcast "Soliti Ignoti - Il Return". The sales figure, Agipronews reports, is substantially stable compared to the previous edition: in 2018, 6.9 million coupons had been sold.

"The draw will be carried out in public session, under the control of the Committee for carrying out the operations relating to deferred lotteries at the headquarters of the Customs and Monopolies Agency in Piazza Mastai, in the presence of the Guardia di Finanza and consumer category representatives. Tonight, during the Rai broadcast 'Soliti ignoti - il feedback', the winning tickets will be announced, the first category prizes, the first of which will be worth € 5 million. third category will be established by the Committee, in number and amount, shortly before the start of the transmission ".

The Customs and Monopolies Agency reminds that "no form of withholding or withdrawal is applied to the winnings of any amount of the Lottery Italy. Therefore the winners are credited in full with the amounts corresponding to the prizes established".

Among the cities, record in Rome
Once again Rome confirms itself as the sales capital of the Italy Lottery, with 1.03 million tickets sold in the last edition, even if down 5.5% compared to 2018.

Behind him Milan, with 546,030 tickets detached, a figure similar to that of the last edition, then Naples up 2.9% with over 304 thousand tickets.

The top five of the cities that sold the most tickets ended with Bologna, with 229,730 coupons (+ 0.1%), and Turin with 226,460 (+ 3.2%).

Overall, these five cities with 2.3 million totaled 34.3% of the tickets sold (equal to 6.7 million), practically one in three.

Sales in the regions
Lazio is also at the top of sales in the regions this year. In the region, 1,324,870 coupons were sold (20% compared to the 6.7 million of the national figure), even if compared to last year there was a decrease of 5%. Lombardy follows closely, which stands at 1,145,490 (-2%). Emilia Romagna, with 647,260 coupons detached (-2.8%), is placed on the third step of the podium, by a breath in front of Campania, which stops at 605,380, but which unlike the regions that precede it, marks a + 2.9% compared to last year.
