Part of the overhead contact line C line was uprooted by a crane truck - Keolis Bordeaux Métropole

The new year is off to a bad start for the Bordeaux transport network, TBM. The operator Keolis indicated on Monday that a crane truck tore off the LAC (Overhead Contact Line, or catenary) at around 11 am on line C at the Berges du lac station in the Lac district, " causing the line to fall for around 150 m. "

The accident caused an interruption in traffic between Les Aubiers and Parc des Expositions stations. The Keolis teams have been on the job since the end of the morning in an attempt to restore traffic, but the damage being significant, traffic should not resume until "Tuesday at the end of the morning" indicates Keolis.

Replacement buses have been set up.
