The President of the Presidential Council of the Libyan National Accord Government, Fayez al-Sarraj, said that the council is in session to discuss cutting diplomatic ties with the UAE, while the UN Security Council will hold an emergency session on Monday to discuss developments in Libya.

The Presidential Council of the Government of National Accord declared a three-day mourning for the death of the military college, which was accused of bombing an Emirati plane.

Libyan activists called for speeding up the severing of these relations, and called on the government - in the name of # Emirates - to kill the Libyans - to sever the relationship with the bodies that support the retired Major General Khalifa Hifter.

"We pledge to all our martyrs a punishment for them from the rulers of the rogue Abu Dhabi state, which has demanded the severing of relations with them for months, and I renew my call to the Al-Wefaq government to do this immediately," tweeted the former head of the Supreme Council of the State, Abd al-Rahman Al-Suwaihli.

The former Minister of Culture, Al-Habib Al-Amin, addressed the government, saying, "Cut the relations with those who made him wings and gave him embers of the missiles to cast them on your children, your youth and your families, if you are ashamed and possess an atom of sense or patriotism."

"The crime of bombing the Military College in Tripoli yesterday was carried out by an Emirati plane as the news mentions. It is the right of every Emirati to ask the leadership what makes us support the war criminal Hifter? And why do we send our children as mercenaries bombing legitimacy and innocent people?" ".

An emergency session
On the other hand, the National Accord government announced the approval of the UN Security Council to hold an emergency closed session on Monday to discuss its country's file.

This came in a brief statement to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on its Facebook page, in which it called for taking a firm stand against the aggression against the capital, Tripoli.

Al-Jazeera correspondent Ahmed Khalifa quoted the official spokesman for the Al-Wefaq government, Muhammad al-Qiblawi, as saying that the UN Security Council had agreed to hold the session, stressing that the Libyan Foreign Ministry was asking the council to take a firm stance against what it called the aggression of retired Major General Khalifa Hifter.

On Saturday evening, a foreign aircraft supporting the Haftar forces bombed the headquarters of the Military College in Tripoli, killing thirty students.

The Libyan Army's Expeditionary Commanding Officer said that it was marched by UAE planes that bombed the Military College.

The Libyan Foreign Ministry condemned the bombing, and called on the international community to take immediate and urgent intervention to deter aggression and protect innocent civilians.

The Foreign Ministry called on the international community to assume its responsibilities, and to bring Haftar and those with him to the International Criminal Court, on charges of crimes against humanity.

She stressed that "with this cowardly and brutal act (bombing the Military College) it is clear to the whole world that the Haftar militia does not fight terrorism as it claims, but rather practices terrorism in particular and violates international humanitarian law."

Turkey condemns
The Turkish Foreign Ministry condemned the attack, and stressed that Ankara will continue to support the legitimate Libyan reconciliation government, calling on the international community to intervene to stop external support for Haftar.

It demanded an end to the attacks by Haftar's forces, and a ceasefire in Libya.

The Turkish Defense Ministry also condemned - in a tweet on its Twitter account - the attack on the Military College in Tripoli, and described it as a cruel attack.
