- It's a couple where the woman is arrested. The man is taken to hospital, he has injuries to his face, says police officer Peter Persson.
The alarm came on Sunday afternoon and several police patrols went off as it was about an ongoing, and gross, abuse.
- It took a long time before we got there, both because it was a snowstorm and because we had no car in Avesta. We got help from Region Mitt as well, says Peter Persson.
The abuse must have been going on for a while, and an affair must have been used, but the arrest itself was relatively calm. The defendant was heard during the evening and the investigation continues with inter alia witness testimony.
