The Secretary General of the Lebanese Hezbollah, Hassan Nasrallah, said today, Sunday, that the killing of the Iranian Quds Force commander, Qassem Soleimani, represented "the beginning of a new stage" in the history of the Middle East, vowing the American army to pay the price.

Referring to the day Soleimani was killed, Nasrallah said that it is "a history separating two phases in the region ... it is the beginning of a new phase and a new history, not for Iran or Iraq but for the whole region."

Nasrallah's statements came at a gathering in Beirut's southern suburbs to pay tribute to Soleimani, Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis, deputy head of the Iraqi Popular Mobilization and those killed in the American raid, on Friday morning in Baghdad.

Nasrallah added that "Soleimani achieved his personal goal, and this is his wish since he was a young man, who walk in this way, some of them fall before the end and the flame subsides in them and the longing dies in them to meet, and other people increase in glow, presence and flame, Soleimani and the engineer were of the second type, nor Especially in recent years. "

American elections
He continued, "The day of the assassination will be a new model for the victory of blood on the sword," saying that "martyrdom is one of the two good ones, victory or martyrdom.

In the same context, the Secretary-General of Hezbollah called on the Iraqi people to expel all American soldiers from Iraq, and he said, "O proud Iraqi people, the weakest faith in responding to the murder of Qasim Soleimani is to remove American forces from Iraq and liberate Iraq from the new occupation."

And Nasrallah considered that "the just punishment (for the killing of Soleimani and the engineer) is to end the American presence in our region."

He added that US President Donald Trump and his administration "do not know what they really do," adding, "When the coffins of American soldiers begin to return to the United States, Trump will realize that he lost the region and the elections."

Nasrallah said that "the American army will pay the price of the assassination of Soleimani," noting that "civilians and American citizens should not be harmed, because that serves Trump's policy."

He continued, "When the Americans leave the region, the Zionists will leave it, and we may not need a battle with them."
