The planetary saga "Star Wars" continued to lead the race at the speed of light this weekend, keeping by far the head of the North American box office thanks to its latest opus, "The Rise of Skywalker" , according to provisional figures published Sunday by the specialized company Exhibitor Relations.

Disney's feature film, which closes the 42-year-old franchise, raised $ 33.7 million from Friday to Sunday. In total, in three weeks, it garnered some $ 451 million in the United States and Canada.
