“The Soviet inter-district investigation department of the Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the Stavropol Territory opened a criminal case on the death of four people, including an eight-year-old girl, as a result of the fire,” the statement said.
The criminal case is investigated under Art. 109 of the Criminal Code of Russia (“Causing death by negligence”).
According to preliminary data, a fire could have occurred due to a malfunction of heating devices.
Earlier it was reported that as a result of a fire in a private house in the Soviet urban district of the Stavropol Territory, four were killed, including a child.
