Israel has warned the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) and Islamic Jihad not to participate in a retaliatory response to the killing of the commander of the Quds Force in the Iranian Revolutionary Guard, Qassem Soleimani.

The Hebrew site "Wella" stated that Tel Aviv sent - through Egypt - warnings to both Hamas and Islamic Jihad against any attempt to launch rockets or launch attacks from within the Gaza Strip against Israeli targets.

This came after security and military consultations conducted by the Israeli Defense Minister Naftali Bennett hours after the assassination of Soleimani.

On Friday, the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Security Forces announced the lifting of the security alert and the reinforcement of guarding in all its embassies and representations around the world for fear of reprisals after Soleimani's death.

In a precautionary step, the occupation army closed Jabal Al-Sheikh, but left life as normal in the rest of the border areas of the occupied Syrian Golan and on the border with Lebanon.

The Israelis did not mention specific threats, but they hinted, after assassinations similar to Soleimani's assassination, that there could be attacks from Lebanon and Syria by Lebanese Hezbollah and Iranian groups.

Four other officers from the Quds Force were killed along with Soleimani, and two leaders of the Iraqi Popular Mobilization, one of them Abu Mahdi Al-Muhandis, deputy head of the crowd, which includes factions loyal to Iran, were killed in a raid by an American plane, an American march according to American media, or American helicopters, according to Iranian television.
