Top quotations for maximum temperatures have also been hit more and more frequently in recent years. The record for December is from December 20, 2015 when it was +13.0 degrees in Södertälje. The peak listing for December 2019 was struck on Monday, the day before New Year's Eve, when +10.0 degrees were measured.
