As is well known, it is mild January weather with low pressure that replaces each other. For several days it has been windy - and the wind continues.

- This is what it looks like in the near future, probably all next week too, says Åsa Rasmusen, meteorologist at SVT.

During the night until Saturday, the winds become stronger, but not as strong as further north in the country. But the winds still reach a Class 1 warning from SMHI.

- It's breeze offshore and in the villages the wind can bump up to 25 meters per second, so storm, says Åsa Rasmusen.

The winds will be strongest south along the west coast, in Halland.

No winter cold in sight

Next week, more low pressure will come in from the west and during Wednesday it can again be very windy.

- It is too early to say yet but yes, there is a risk of severe winds then.

As far as the meteorologists can see, there is no dramatic change in weather conditions.

- We must wait for the real winter cold. But statistically, it is the coldest in January and February so it can turn around, says Åsa Rasmusen.
