Julian Castro, former Obama minister, has announced his retirement from the primaries: "It is not yet my time," he said in a video in which he thanked his fans. Because of his origins, Castro had always been considered a candidate capable of attracting consensus among African American and Hispanic minorities in the United States. But polls never gave it above 2% of the vote.
