The government consists of 39 members, including five women, the youngest member is 26 years old, and has been appointed Delegate Minister for Emerging Enterprises, and worked for some of the newly appointed ministers in the government of former President Abdelaziz Bouteflika.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs and Justice, Sabri Bogadom and Belkacem Zoghmati, in addition to the ministers of Mujahideen and Religious Affairs in the caretaker government, held their positions, and the new government was distinguished by competencies of non-partisans.

The Algerian President Abdel Majid Taboun, who was installed two weeks ago, commissioned Jarad last Saturday to form a government to succeed Noureddine Badawi.
