The situation is still tight between pro-democracy activists and the Hong Kong government. "About 400" protesters were arrested on Wednesday in Hong Kong during the imposing pro-democracy parade marked by clashes with the police, police said.

The protesters were arrested for, among other things, "illicit gathering and possession of weapons," said Hong Kong police official Jim Ng at a press conference. According to the organizers, more than a million people participated in the first pro-democracy demonstration of 2020.
