“A criminal case has been opened on the grounds of a crime under Article 317 of the Criminal Code of Russia (attempt on the life of a law enforcement officer),” the text says.
It is noted that the attackers were neutralized.
It is also specified that a complex of investigative actions is being carried out to clarify all the circumstances of the incident.
Earlier, the leadership of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia expressed condolences to the family and friends of the employee who died in the line of duty in Magas.
On Tuesday, December 31, at about 5:30 p.m. unknown persons attacked the traffic police post at the entrance to Magas. According to the regional Ministry of Internal Affairs, three police officers were injured, the attackers were neutralized.
