According to the Executive Council, the decision on the salary, grades, allowances and allowances schedule for Abu Dhabi government employees requires that about 80% of the total salary of the employed citizen be included in the salary subject to deduction (on the basis of which the pension is calculated), which means achieving a significant increase in the pension when retiring government employees ’employees, To enhance the standard of living and family stability of citizenship families.

In accordance with the decision, the Abu Dhabi government will bear the costs of implementing the decision, which includes creating incentive allowances to support talent recruitment, and reward distinguished people in government agencies, to encourage excellence and creativity, and give the candidate for recruitment from new graduates an opportunity to prepare and develop it functionally, by introducing a contract rewards system with trained graduates And define the training period.

The Council affirmed that the decisions of the salaries, grades, allowances and allowances for Abu Dhabi government employees, and the transfer of employees of government agencies on the approved schedule, will enter into force as of today.

For its part, the Human Resources Authority of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi considered that the decision of the salary schedule, grades, allowances and allowances of employees of the Abu Dhabi government will contribute to a qualitative shift in the administrative and employment field for all employees of the Abu Dhabi government, in the medium and long term, stressing that the scope of application of the decision applies to all government agencies in Abu Dhabi , And it is required to amend the applicable human resources policies, procedures and systems in accordance with its provisions.

He added that the decision will preserve the rights acquired for employees, in relation to the salary, basic and total, in addition to giving the candidate for employment, from new graduates, an opportunity to prepare and develop a career for a position in the government agency, through the contract rewards system with trained graduates.

He pointed out that major and subsidiary job grades have been developed, in order to achieve the best management system that is stable and sustainable, and enhances opportunities for career progression for all employees, which increases employee productivity and performance, and contributes to the improvement of the government work system in accordance with the aspirations of the leadership that reflects the importance of investment and its value in the cadres Humanity, and achieving its ambitions, in addition to updating the criteria for appointing a military retiree in the government agency and determining the financial reward for it.

In turn, the Director General of the Abu Dhabi Retirement Fund, Khalaf Abdullah Rahmah Al Hammadi, affirmed that the Executive Council’s decision regarding the salary schedule, grades, allowances and allowances of employees of the Abu Dhabi government comes from the vision of leadership in developing the government work system and achieving job stability for citizens, and its endeavor to improve their lives in all ways.

Al-Hammadi said that the decision will contribute to achieving the principle of justice and equality, and will greatly benefit the citizen during the coming period, as it contributes to increasing the retirement pension and other insurance benefits provided by the fund, in a manner that maintains its standard of living after retirement and provides it with a decent life.

He explained that the new salary schedule has redistributed the employee’s salary to the elements of the salary on the basis of which the pension is calculated, and thus the percentage of monthly contributions on the basis of which the pension is calculated will be raised to include about 80% of the total salary of the insured, which works to reduce the gap in the monthly income For the citizen before and after retirement.

Al Hammadi indicated that the government will bear the cost resulting from the implementation of this decision in order to raise pensions for retired citizens, and to maintain the standard of living before and after retirement, which contributes to maintaining the standard of living of Emirati families.

He explained that the retirement pension will be calculated for those who want to retire currently, based on the details of the new salary after the application of the decision, which contributes significantly to the increase in the value of the pension.
