20 December 2019An agreement on waste management in Rome was found between the 5-star Municipality and the Dem-led Region.At the end of a technical table on the subject, the pentastellato group leader in Campidoglio Giuliano Pacetti reported: "We have found the agreement and it is a joy today to say we have succeeded. There will be no temporary site within the city of Rome The city will do its part by identifying a final disposal site. The site is being identified. " In the transition there will be support from the Lazio Region.
