Toulon, reborn this season, snatched the draw from defending champion Toulouse on Sunday at the end of the 12th day of the Top 14.
By neutralizing its immediate chaser in the classification, the RCT remains 3rd with a point ahead of the Ugo Mola team (4th). It is the first time that Toulouse has not won at home this season.
Led 10-0 at the break after a personal feat by scrum half Sébastien Bézy, Toulon came back up to the end of the match with a try from its young opener Louis Carbonel and two penalties from Anthony Belleau.
