“6 rescuers of the Karpinsky search and rescue squad advanced in search of an unregistered tourist group,” the report said.
The ministry also said that in addition to searches from Yekaterinburg, a Mi-8 helicopter of the Russian Emergencies Ministry took off with five rescuers from the Ural regional search and rescue squad.
In August, a group of tourists from St. Petersburg disappeared in the White Sea in Karelia.
