A 70-year-old man is seriously hospitalized after being brutally beaten in the face and head on a road in the Madrid town of Camarma de Esteruelas, a spokesperson for the Madrid Community of Emergency 112 told Europa Press.
The finding took place around 5:00 pm on Sunday, after 112 received a call alerting that there was a wounded man lying on the ground on a road near the sewage treatment plant on the banks of the M-119 .
Upon arrival, the Summa health workers found that the man had severe head trauma and respiratory distress, so he was intubated and transferred in a UVI to the Hospital de La Princesa in Madrid, where he has been in a very serious condition.
Agents of the Judicial Police of the Civil Guard of Paracuellos del Jarama are in charge of investigating the facts to determine the author or perpetrators and the motive for the violent aggression, a spokeswoman for the Comandancia de Madrid has told Europa Press. The man had strong blows to the skull and bruises on his bloody face.
