The alarm came at 22.29 on Saturday evening. It had then started burning in a townhouse near Farsta center in southern Stockholm.
- We have a fully developed fire in an apartment of ten. It is a two-storey townhouse. We are working to prevent the spread of additional apartments via the roof, ”says Tomas Lindberg, management operator at the Stockholm Fire Defense.
He continues:
- We have no information on possible injuries at this time. The forecast is that we will remain a number of hours ahead.
Images from the site show heavy smoke spread from the townhouse. Fire flames strike from the ceiling. The rescue service is in place with 11 units and several ambulances are in place.
