The President of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Dr. Arif Alawi, received at the Presidential Palace in the capital, Islamabad, Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Tolerance, who is currently visiting Pakistan, and Alawi expressed appreciation for the efforts of the UAE in the areas of strengthening regional peace and stability, and during the meeting they discussed Bilateral relations between the two countries, and ways to enhance and develop them in various fields.

The Pakistani President stressed the strong relations that link his country and the Emirates, based on strong foundations of culture and common heritage, and expressed Pakistan's desire to strengthen it at all levels, including trade, investment, energy, culture and tourism.

On the other hand, Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Pakistani Prime Minister, Imran Khan met, and the UAE-Pakistan relations march was discussed in various fields, and he briefed him on the efforts made by the UAE government in spreading and deepening the values ​​of tolerance and coexistence around the world.

On the other hand, the UAE donated quantities of books related to Arabic language and literature, and Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, on this occasion, inaugurated the book stand at the National Library in Islamabad, which was established at the initiative of the UAE, in the presence of the Pakistani Prime Minister For Media Affairs, Dr. Firdous Ishiq Awan.

Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan stressed that the UAE will continue its cooperation with Pakistan in various fields, and valued the strong fraternal relations between the two friendly countries.

For her part, Ferdous Lover expressed her country's appreciation for the continuous Emirati support in various sectors, especially campaigns to combat polio, in addition to encouraging investments, and thanked the UAE for its initiative to establish a book stand in the Pakistan National Library, and expressed her country's desire to exchange experiences in areas Education, media and press.
