Dodon said that at any meeting with Putin he can openly discuss any complex issues, which, according to the President of Moldova, promotes mutual understanding and the search for solutions to problems in the relations between the two countries.
“It remains amazing to me how, even after decades, he remembers to the smallest detail certain events that took place in the history of Moldovan-Russian relations,” said Dodon.
According to him, the Russian leader knows how to remain calm even in very difficult situations, especially when it comes to security issues.
Dodon said that for him, “the positive attitude of the President of Russia and his faith in the future of his country, the interests of which he consistently defends,” is an example for him.
Earlier, Dodon met with Russian Ambassador to Moldova Oleg Vasnetsov.
