Previously, Gazprom announced that it had paid Naftogaz $ 2.9 billion by decision of the Stockholm arbitration as part of the settlement of the gas transit dispute.
The Ukrainian company confirmed the receipt of funds and said that the parties continue negotiations on the terms of further cooperation after the completion of the current gas supply contract on January 1, 2020.
