His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, expressed his regret over the conditions in which millions of Arab youth live, as their dreams falter and their hopes evaporate, due to the abnormal relationship between their rulers and their homelands.

His Highness, in a tweet he published yesterday, mentioned on his personal page on Twitter, under the tag “Life taught me”, by Caliph Omar Bin Al-Khattab, may God be pleased with him, who held himself responsible for everything that people are subjected to under his rule, even he was afraid To be asked about a mule who gets stuck on the road.

His Highness affirmed that the ruler, who is afraid to sleep reassuringly among his people, represents a danger to his country, pointing to the bad conditions that Arab countries are exposed to as a result of their rulers distancing themselves from the concerns of their peoples and their issues. In his tweet, His Highness said: “#Life has taught me that Caliph Umar ibn Al-Khattab was afraid .. He was afraid that you might stumble with mule on the way and be asked about it. Today we see the lives of millions of Arab youth falter ... and their hopes evaporate ... because of a ruler who fears sleeping among his people. # You taught me _ life if a ruler is afraid of his people, then the people must fear for the future of his country ».
