Hamda Yusef Al-Hammadi (19 years old), ranked 10th in the public track at the state level in 2018, decided to stay abroad and travel to the United Kingdom to study “politics and economics” at her first university station in Nottingham, after participating in the Future Ambassadors Program, In the state of Colorado in the United States.

Al-Hammadi said that her specialty is twofold, which combines two specializations that complement each other, and they form an essential part of the strategies for the renaissance of countries and their development plans to elevate them to the ranks of developed countries.

Al-Hammadi, the scholarship to study in the United Kingdom by the Ministry of Education, said: “The state’s relentless efforts to enhance its economic position and activate its political role greatly contributed to my academic choice, which brings together two majors belonging to the social sciences. The first science is concerned with conducting analyzes for each Political matters pertaining to the country, including political beliefs and political activities, as well as political behavior, and the second method that helps in making decisions about how to use limited resources to meet needs and desires ».

Al-Hammadi, who is a student in her first year, stated that her early experiences inside and outside the country in various posts played a prominent role in taking the step of alienation for the sake of studying, as she paved the way for her to be self-reliant and self-confident.

"Since I was 12 years old, I participated in the Skills of (Knowledge Ambassadors) Program of the Sharjah Education Council in the United Kingdom, which represents an opportunity to give distinguished students more knowledge skills and experiences that will enable them to draw their future with confidence."

"In 2014, I participated in the Unified House camp in Al Dhafra Region, which targets the male and female students category, and includes a number of activities and activities that mimic the history of grandparents, and in 2015 I participated in the communications camp under the title (Educate a child adopting a nation), and also participated in the camp of Thakhr In 2015, under the title (Future Leaders), which was organized by the General Authority for Youth and Sports Welfare in workshops and competitions on leadership, in addition to a seminar entitled (Emirates Leaders), presented by the Minister of State for International Cooperation Affairs, Reem Bint Ibrahim Al Hashemi ».

"In 2016, I traveled to Scotland to study English in the summer with the Arab Scientific Institute, followed by my participation in the Future Ambassadors Program, in the state of Colorado in the United States, organized by the Ministry of Education, with the aim of providing an opportunity to participate in his unique educational experience outside the country, in line with With his goal to prepare students to meet the requirements emerging in the 21st century, and to equip them with the skills, knowledge and abilities that allow them to enjoy a promising future ».

Al-Hammadi explained that “her merging into alienation did not overcome the feelings of longing and nostalgia for the family and the homeland, but everything underestimated for the purpose of scholarship, which is to seek knowledge and provide knowledge, in order to return even a small part of what our government gave to us.”

Difficulties of alienation

Young citizen Hamda Yusef Al Hammadi confirmed that she did not encounter any major difficulties in her west, which helped her to continue the road, until she assumed the position of vice president of the Emirati Students Association in Nottingham and the University of Nottingham, explaining that the association helps the citizen scholars, and implements various activities, events and initiatives, Such as preparing a special video on “The Year of Tolerance 2019”, organizing recreational trips, and attending a hockey match for Nottingham against Cardiff.

The association recently participated in the 48th celebration of the establishment of the state at King's College University in London, which was organized by Emirati societies, in cooperation with the World Youth Council, and each association presented its achievements, and the Emirati Society presented in Nottingham the paragraph of the popular games.

Al-Hammadi participated in events such as the World Week in which each country presented its heritage, and on the "Arab Night", alongside celebrations of scholars from the Gulf countries on their national day.
