This was announced by the chairman of the Synodal department for the relationship of the church with society and the media of the Moscow Patriarchate Vladimir Legoyda in his Telegram channel.

“Today’s decree of the Synod: to confirm the impossibility of remembering the name of the Patriarch of Alexandria Theodore in diptychs, as well as prayer and Eucharistic communion with him,” he wrote.

At the same time, the Synod decided "to maintain church communion with the bishops of the Alexandrian Orthodox Church, except for those who supported or in the future will support the legalization of the Ukrainian schism."

In November, Archpriest Nikolai Balashov, deputy head of the synodal department of external church relations of the Moscow Patriarchate, stated that the recognition by the Alexandrian Patriarch of the non-canonical church of Ukraine (PCU) makes it impossible for him to be remembered by Patriarch Kirill.
