Al-Jazeera correspondent said that three Indian soldiers were killed by shooting at them from the Pakistani side in the Kashmir region, while Pakistan announced the death of two of its soldiers and another injury as a result of the Indian shelling across the Line of Control separating the two sides.

A statement of the Department of Public Relations of the Pakistani army said that India had violated the ceasefire in the "Haji Bir" sector near the armistice line separating the two parts of Kashmir.

On the other hand, Indian media accused Pakistan of violating the ceasefire on the border between the two parts of Kashmir.

The "Times Now" television station reported that an Indian and a civilian soldier were killed in a Pakistani bombing across the border. She added that three other people were injured and ten houses were damaged by the Pakistani bombing.

And yesterday, Wednesday, Pakistani security sources said that India had removed parts of the fence separating the two parts of Kashmir on both sides of the armistice line in the Sialkot sector, and also brought armored vehicles and strengthened its air bases near the border with Pakistan.

According to the same sources, unusual military movements were also observed on the border near Lahore and the desert border in Rajasthan.

The Pakistani sources suggested that India would carry out what it described as a military adventure, regardless of the internal situation and the angry reaction to India’s controversial new nationality law.

Tensions between India and Pakistan have escalated since last August, and Pakistan has then warned against responding forcefully to any Indian military adventure.

India and Pakistan fought three wars in 1948, 1965 and 1971, two of which were in the context of the Kashmir conflict, killing nearly 70,000 people on both sides.

On August 5, India canceled provisions of Article 370 of the constitution granting autonomy to Jammu and Kashmir, claiming that autonomy increased the separatist aspirations of the population.

The new measures have raised tension between New Delhi and Islamabad, which demands the annexation of the Indian-controlled part of the province to Pakistani sovereignty.
