December 26, 2019 An earthquake of magnitude 3.3 was registered by the National Institute of Geophysics and Volcanology at 4.17 last night in the province of Macerata, in the Marche region.

The epicenter was located 2 km north-east of the Municipality of Fiuminata, not far from the border with Umbria.

According to the findings of the National Institute of Geophysics and Volcanology (Ingv), the earthquake had a hypocenter at 63 km depth and an epicenter at 2 km from Fiuminata and 13 from Gualdo Tadino (Perugia).

No damage to people or things has been reported.
