This was reported by RIA Novosti with reference to the response of the Amur Basin Environmental Prosecutor's Office to ecologists.

It is noted that a copy of the document was provided by the head of the Ekovakhta organization Dmitry Lisitsyn.

“According to the Rosselkhoznadzor Directorate for Primorsky Krai and Sakhalin Oblast, walruses were transported by air on November 26 to the place of destination of Aquatoria LLC (Republic of Crimea, Yalta),” the prosecutor’s office said.

At the same time, the supervisory authority found that walrus harvesting was carried out illegally.

Earlier, Rosprirodnadzor did not allow selling walruses from Primorye abroad.
