French hostage Sophie Petronin, 74, begins this Wednesday, December 25, a fourth year of detention in northern Mali. His son Sébastien wanted to send him a message full of hope.
On December 24, 2016, armed men kidnapped Sophie Petronin in Gao. She ran an association there to help pregnant women and orphans. The abduction has been claimed by the Support Group for Islam and Muslims (GSIM). Three years later, her son sends her a bright message.
