Earlier it became known that the US Senate Foreign Relations Committee approved a bill on the possibility of recognizing Russia as a “sponsor of terrorism” along with Iran, North Korea, Syria and Sudan.

This initiative provides for the introduction of additional economic sanctions against Moscow, as well as a possible ban on the supply of arms or the export control of dual-use goods.
