The night of Christmas Eve was an accident-hit night in Blekinge.

At 23:35 , an alarm was received that a passenger car had ended up in the ditch along Hälleviksvägen in Mjällby. But the car had not been overturned and the driver was out of the car when the emergency services arrived at the scene to move the car. While their work was going on, traffic was diverted.

At 1:40 am , an alarm was received that two passenger cars had collided at E22 in Förkärla. A total of six people were affected, but without serious injuries. Police dispatched a patrol to the scene and the road was closed during the night while the emergency services were working at the scene.

02:03 an alarm was received about a wildlife accident north of Jämjö. It was a passenger car that had collided with a wild boar at the height of the exit towards Ekeryd. The E22 in the direction of Karlskrona was closed for one hour.
