• Treatment Board: Brieva prison approves that Urdangarin enjoys four days of leave at Christmas and not the seven he asked for

Iñaki Urdangarin enjoys his first four-day prison permit , since at 8.40 minutes on Christmas Eve he left the Brieva Penitentiary Center (Avila), where he entered on June 18, 2018.

The brother-in-law of the King is serving a sentence of 5 years and 10 months in prison for embezzlement, prevarication, fraud against the Administration , two tax crimes and influence peddling in what is known as the Nóos case.

UrdangarIn has been picked up by the same vehicle in which every Tuesday and Thursday, since last September, it travels between Ávila and Pozuelo de Alarcón (Madrid) to volunteer in an NGO for people with disabilities.

The vehicle, gray, has reached the interior of the prison at 8.32 minutes, and then access the prison itself through the main door and echo inside the husband of the Infanta Cristina .

Eight minutes later, at 8.40 am, he has left the enclosure in the back seat of the car in the direction of Pozuelo de Alarcón, where he plans to go, as every Tuesday and Thursday since September, before spending the next four days with his family .

The former Duke of Palma will have to return to the women's prison of Brieva before 8.40 am next Saturday .

Iñaki Urdangarin requested this prison permit at the end of last November, after serving a quarter of the sentence.

Although he initially requested seven days of permission, the maximum contemplated by law, the Prison Treatment Board reduced him to the four he enjoys as of this Tuesday.
