The rains, however, will mainly affect only Calabria and north-eastern Sicily, elsewhere the sun will dominate.

In the following days, therefore from Christmas Eve and Boxing Day, the good weather will be prevalent with sunshine almost everywhere. Of note only the formation of some fog or dense haze on the Friulian coasts, on the Po Valley and on Tuscany and also occasional, but temporary cloud cover. Between Friday and Saturday the rise of the anticyclone towards more northern latitudes will favor the arrival of colder air from the Balkans. The immediate consequences will be felt above all on the temperatures that will drop in the nocturnal values ​​going below zero in the North and in the diurnal ones that will drop below the average on the central-southern Adriatic regions and in the South. A possible and new irruption is also announced
of cold air, this time from the North Pole, scheduled for New Year's Day.

Aeolian islands: Sea by force 7
