Tags in various languages to denounce the violations committed by China against Uighurs Muslims occupied the forefront of the social networking site Twitter in Egypt, and also enjoyed wide interaction on Facebook.

Also, some Arabic language descriptions appeared on the top, dealing with the issue itself, most notably "# Uighurs", "#China_terrorist country" and "# Uighur Muslims_Buttmot_Arab", through which many Egyptian activists interacted in solidarity with the Uighur Muslims and calling for their victory.
In the context of this wide interaction through these labels, Twitter users posted photos, videos and news highlighting the persecution of Uighur Muslims at the hands of the Chinese authorities, as well as testimonies and appeals for a number of members of this Muslim minority.
The singers highlighted the position of the German Arsenal team star, Masoud Ozil, when he spoke about the Uighurs issue via Twitter tweets, in which he criticized the failure of Islamic countries regarding what the Uighurs are exposed to at the hands of the Chinese government, which was irritated by what Ozil wrote.
Moghridoun also celebrated the support of former Egyptian football star Mohamed Abu Trika to Ozil, considering the position of the players as one of the main reasons that helped shed light on these violations and placed them in the focus of international and Arab media attention, and aroused public opinion against these violations.
While calls for boycotting Chinese products have emerged, and others have tried to bring up alternatives to these products, pointing out that the Arab and global slowdown in confronting China’s crimes against Uighurs is the main reference to its economic superiority and its conquest in global markets.
A side of the interactions was keen to evoke the suffering of other peoples within the interaction through these labels, including the suffering of the Rohingya Muslims at the hands of the government of the State of Myanmar, the suffering of the Syrians at the hands of the Bashar al-Assad regime, as well as the suffering of Yemenis and Egyptians.
