“To make such statements, you need to understand the features of the activities of special services, respectively, to be involved in such activities yourself. It is surprising that the ambassador of Ukraine is so knowledgeable in the activities of foreign intelligence services, ”the deputy said.

The parliamentarian called it "quite natural" that the UN staff from Russia defend the interests of their country in the framework of the organization.

He also added that such conclusions "may be given by the special services of the host country, that is, the United States."

Earlier, Yelchenko said that half of the Russians who work at the UN are hidden or explicit “agents of the Russian special services” that influence the organization’s work.
