Asvel won 93-81 against Alba Berlin on Friday at Astroballe on the 15th day of Euroleague, relaunching competition after five losses in their last six European matches.

The Villeurbannais put a boost in the third quarter (+17 pts) to go definitively ahead of the Germans and easily win 12 points.

"We were more aggressive in the second half, it helped us find easy shots," said captain Antoine Diot at the RMC Sport microphone after the game.

Despite a hellish pace (8th game in 20 days), Asvel dominated a weak Berlin team to win their sixth home victory in the Euroleague this season.

Four players (Payne, Lighty, Kahudi and Jean-Charles) finished at 10 points or more and contributed to the club's 93 total points, the club's points record this season in competition.

Zvezdan Mitrovic's men were also able to rely on a found Antoine Diot, author of a full match (9 pts, 5 assists), like this roll pass which found Adreian Payne, back, under the circle before succeeding a counter rage on the other side of the floor.

Two award-winning shots from Charles Kahudi and Théo Maledon in the final minutes sealed the score in favor of Lyon-Villeurbanne, inflicting Alba Berlin its 11th defeat of the year in the Euroleague.

Defeated Tuesday in Barcelona (80-67), the club chaired by Tony Parker revives and goes back to 9th place, just behind the last qualifying place for the playoffs.

Asvel will return to the Elite Championship on Monday, which it largely dominates (14 victories in as many games), at Le Mans (8 p.m.), before the 16th day of Euroleague, next Thursday, at home against the Russians at Khimki Moscow (8.45 p.m. ).
