"We have always separated from our activities when they grow and mature," he added.

The spin-off should be finalized in 2020, in the second quarter.

Tinder, known for the ability to "swipe" profiles to the right or left depending on whether you want to meet them or not, is the most important match application, with around 57 million users. in the world.

The separation of the two companies will bring more flexibility to Match and funding to IAC, a media and entertainment group that includes the Daily Beast, Dotdash, Vimeo, Investopedia and HomeAdvisor.

"Match Group will be our 7th spin-off company. It will join an impressive group of IAC offspring who collectively represent $ 58 billion today," said the president.
