The delegation, which included Sheikha Kholoud Al Qasimi, Assistant Undersecretary for the Supervision Sector in the Ministry of Education, and the Secretary General of the award, Dr. Hamad Al Darmaki, and Fathia Al-Obaidly, reviewed the objectives and philosophy of the award that stems from the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Leader The Supreme Armed Forces, in achieving leadership in distinguished educational performance in a way that fulfills the aspirations of the region to enrich the educational system, and build a sustainable economy based on knowledge and innovation.
The "Mohamed Bin Zayed Award for Best Gulf Teacher" announced the expansion of the countries participating in the third session of the award to include both Egypt and Jordan, as well as opening the way for the participation of foreign teachers in the countries participating in the award in its previous sessions.
The Sheikh of Al-Azhar Al-Sharif, His Eminence the Grand Imam, Dr. Ahmed Al-Tayeb, said that the award constitutes an incentive for the teacher to develop himself and advance the educational system, expressing his hope that the award will become a role model in strengthening the bonds of cooperation between Arab countries, and that the ministries of education in the Arab world will be inspired by the experience of a state The Emirates in developing the educational system and honoring its distinguished teachers.
He pointed out that Al-Azhar Al-Sharif abounds with talents and talents that contributed to enriching the educational process in the Arab Republic of Egypt and the Arab and Islamic world, stressing Al-Azhar’s desire to cooperate with the award’s holders, and to enable them to benefit from the experiences and talents that are able to enrich the award.
Sheikha Kholoud Al Qasimi emphasized the strength and depth of cooperation relations between the UAE and Egypt, noting that these relations enjoy special care from the leadership in the UAE at all levels.

For his part, Al Darmaki said that the award is in the process of implementing a set of introductory workshops for the award in Egypt starting from this month, to introduce the criteria of the award and its goals to all teachers who wish to participate, to be followed by a series of introductory workshops that extend over successive time stages targeting the masses of teachers in their different locations In Egypt, and other participating countries.
